Day 1, Fri: USA - Warsaw
Overnight departure to Warsaw. Enjoy your in-flight meals and entertainment.
Day 2 (D) Sat: Warsaw
Arrival, transfer to your hotel: Intercontinental Warsaw. Meeting with your guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM, dinner with folklore show.
Day 3 (B/L) Sun: Warsaw
Highlights of your half-day tour include the Old Town, rebuilt with great reverence after World War II, the beautiful Old Market Square, The Barbican and medieval defense walls. Continue to the Jewish Ghetto Memorial dedicated to the victims of Nazi brutality. Visit the Monument of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. Then drive along the Royal Route, important for its place in Polish history. Next, the Royal Castle - former residence of Polish kings. Afternoon visit to Wilanow Palace, often hailed as the Polish Versailles, set among stately English and French gardens. The building's interiors are ornately decorated with treasures of the Italian, French, and Polish Baroque. Lunch. Afternoon Chopin recital.
Day 4 (B/L) Mon: Warsaw - Czestochowa - Auschwitz - Zakopane
Morning departure to Zakopane via Czestochowa. En-route visit to the Jasna Gora Monastery and shrine, where the sacred painting of the Black Madonna is venerated. Lunch in Czestochowa. Visit to Auschwitz - the former Nazi concentration camp. Afternoon, continuing on to Zakopane. Accommodations at the Mercure Kasprowy Hotel.
Day 5 (B/D) Tue: Zakopane - Krakow
After breakfast, sightseeing of Zakopane and its charming wooden architecture. Breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains are yours after taking a cable car to the top of Mt. Gubalowka. Afternoon raft trip down the Dunajec River Gorge. Drive to Krakow. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodations at the Novotel Bronowice or similar.
Day 6 (B/D) Wed: Krakow - Wieliczka - Krakow
After breakfast, morning sightseeing of this beautiful city includes: Wawel Castle, Market Square, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary's Church, home to Wit Stwosz masterpiece altar. Afternoon excursion to 700 year old Wieliczka Salt Mine, famous for its crystalline caves and underground chapels adorned with statues sculptured from salt. Dinner with folklore show at a local restaurant.
Day 7 (B/L) Thu: Krakow - Warsaw - Torun

Morning departure, through Warsaw, for Torun, a historic town on the banks of the Vistula River. Lunch enroute. Accommodations at the Mercure Helios Hotel or similar.
Day 8 (B/L) Fri: Torun - Gdynia

Your city tour includes the birthplace of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus on St. Anne's Street, Old Town Square, the 14th century Town Hall, the nearby 15th century "Pod Gwiazda" mansion, and much more. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Gdynia. Accommodations at the Gdynia Hotel.
Day 9 (B/L) Sat: Gdynia/Gdansk/Sopot
Morning orientation tour of the tri-city complex of Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot. The Old Town area of Gdansk is a masterpiece of reconstruction with its lovely burgher's houses, Town Hall, Artus' Court, Gothic Church of Our Lady, and Neptune Fountain. Continue to Oliwa Cathedral for a concert on the famous pipe organ. Lunch. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 10 (B/L) Sun: Gdynia - Malbork - Olsztyn
Today, we leave for the Mazurian Lake District, one of Poland's favorite vacation areas. En route stop in Malbork, famous for the massive Teutonic Knights' Castle - among the best-preserved medieval structures in Central Europe. Lunch. Continue on to Olsztyn for a picnic. Accommodations at the Novotel Olsztyn.
Day 11 (B/D) Mon: Olsztyn - Olsztynek - Warsaw
After breakfast, drive to Warsaw. En-route visit to the Open-air Museum of Folk Architecture in Olsztynek. Continue on to Warsaw for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodations at the Novotel Warsaw Centrum.
Day 12 (B) Tue: Warsaw - USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. As an option, you can extend your stay in Poland on individual basis.
