Day 1,
Fri: USA - Warsaw
Overnight departure to Warsaw. Enjoy your in-flight meals and entertainment.
Day 2 (D) Sat: Warsaw
Arrival, transfer to your hotel: Novotel
Warsaw Centrum. Meeting with your guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM, dinner
at the hotel's restaurant.
Day 3 (B/L) Sun: Warsaw
A morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw and its marvelously
reconstructed Old Town quarter. Visit Market Square, the Barbican, medieval
defense walls, the Royal Castle, and the Jewish Ghetto Memorial dedicated to the
thousands of lives taken by the Nazis. Visit the monument of the 1944 Warsaw
Uprising. A visit to Wilanow Palace, often hailed as the Polish Versailles, set among
stately English and French gardens. The building's interiors are ornately
decorated with treasures of the Italian, French, and Polish Baroque. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon
at leisure. Evening Chopin recital in one of the palaces.
Day 4 (B/L) Mon: Warsaw - Czestochowa
- Zakopane
After breakfast, drive to Zakopane, en-route visit to Jasna Gora Monastery
in Czestochowa. Lunch. Afternoon, continuing on to Zakopane.

Hotel.
Day 5 (B/D) Tue: Zakopane
Experience the pure air and stunning views of Zakopane, high up in the Tatra
Mountains. This resort town renowned for winter sports is mostly inhabited by
Highlanders, keepers of the town's charming wooden architecture and living
folklore. After sightseeing, and cable ride
to Mt. Gubalowka, dinner and folklore entertainment at a local restaurant.
Day
6 (B/L) Wed: Zakopane - Krakow
After breakfast, raft
trip down the Dunajec River Gorge. Lunch. Afternoon: continuing on to Krakow. Accommodations at the
Novotel
Bronowice or similar.
Day 7 (B/D) Thu: Krakow - Wieliczka - Krakow
After breakfast, morning sightseeing of this beautiful city includes: Wawel
Castle, Market Square, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary's Church, home to Wit Stwosz
masterpiece altar. Afternoon excursion to 700 year old Wieliczka
Salt Mine, famous for its crystalline caves and underground chapels adorned with
statues sculptured from salt. Dinner.
Day 8 (B/D) Fri: Krakow - Auschwitz - Wadowice - Krakow
After breakfast, drive to Oswiecim, visit to Auschwitz – former Nazi
concentration camp. Return to Krakow via Wadowice, the hometown of Pope John
Paul II. Dinner.
Day 9 (B/D) Sat: Krakow - Warsaw
After breakfast, drive to Warsaw. Some free time. Dinner with folklore show.
Accommodations at the Novotel
Warsaw Centrum.
Day 10 (B) Sun: Warsaw - USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. As an
option, you can extend your stay in Poland on individual basis.
